Machining notes and operator tips

Fire Hazard: Fine magnesium shavings are flammable. Never use water to extinguish, have a class D powder extinguisher and avoid the accumulation of fines.

Vc · Torno (metal duro, corte medio): 450-1000 m/min

Vc · Fresado (metal duro, corte medio): 300-700 m/min

  • Nunca acumules viruta fina; retírala con frecuencia y ten el extintor de polvo clase D cerca de la máquina.
  • Usa herramienta muy afilada: se mecaniza con muy poca fuerza de corte, pero un filo desgastado genera calor rápido.
  • Evita el aire comprimido para limpiar viruta seca acumulada (dispersa polvo fino); usa aspiración.
