Alarms Okuma
27documented alarms
Full list of alarms for this control, grouped by machine area. Open any of them to see likely causes, safe checks and when to call maintenance.
To identify an Okuma message, keep the alarm category, number and additional text. Omitting one of these parts can confuse different messages. The OSP generation and machine model help select the appropriate documentation before interpreting catalogue entries.
Checking control help01
On OSP controls with integrated help, consult the alarm detail on the machine itself. Okuma documents alarm help and Pocket Manual access for OSP-P300. Availability depends on generation and configuration, so confirm it on your equipment.
When the alarm occurs02
Distinguish startup, program reading, positioning, cutting and tool change. Save the active block and indicated axis or mechanism. A fault following a program edit and a fault occurring without any program running call for different investigations.
Information for support03
Prepare the category, full code, model, OSP generation and screen photograph. Include drive details if present. Okuma support helps locate documentation and assistance; avoid transferring a code’s meaning between machines without checking the reference.
Official documentation
Choose the manual matching your control series, software version and machine builder. A support portal is a starting point; it does not establish applicability to every model.
